
From 16th to 19th February at Rimini Expo Centre, Italian Exhibition Group is presenting the second edition of BBTech Expo, the professional trade fair of technology, equipment and accessories for beer and beverage production and packaging, which showcases the sector’s entire product chain with the leading brands in Europe and in the world.
One of BB TECH EXPO’s winning cards is the fact that it is held simultaneously with Beer Attraction and, this year also with Italgrob’s International Horeca Meeting, the event for Italy’s Horeca trade.
All the sectors of the product chain are represented at the expo by the leading companies, starting with the raw materials, with Fermentis of the Lesaffre group, Mr Malt and Ninkasi, processing with CFT, Lasi, Simatec, Spadoni, Cimec and TMC Padovan. Then the top names in filling, with Gai, Della Toffola and Cime Careddu. In the cap sector, confirmation of participation has been given by veterans Clemente Rigamonti and Pelliconi. For the end-of-line sector, on the other hand, the expo will host a giant such as Robopac of the Aetna Group. Important exhibitors in the tap system sector have also been confirmed, such as Celli, Vinservice and Bevco; glass manufacturing companies, such as Rastal and Vdglass and bottle manufacturers such as Cantinivetro and Vetrobalsamo. Mapei, will present all its new products in the context of venue flooring at BB Tech.
As well as exhibitors, events are also growing in the BBTech Lab, the area dedicated to workshops, in-depth coverage and training meetings. Collaboration has been confirmed with the Cerb Italian Brewing Research Centre, which will organize important updating slots for trade members: On Saturday 16th, with the conference on ”Malting alternative cereals”, Sunday 17th with ”Troubleshooting in the production process”, Monday 18th with the meeting on "The importance of quality control in the production process” and Tuesday with two distinct events: the ”Guide lines for correct management of the production process of a microbrewery” e ”Trends in brewing”.Then there are the workshops organized by the University of Udine.
