R-Biopharm organizes an online presentation to be held on 05 October 2021 at 2.30 pm dedicated to chemical and microbiological analytical control directly in the brewery.

During the seminar, the analytical needs of the production process of conventional, craft and non-alcoholic beers will be dealt with. The operating procedures for the automated determination of the quality parameters of water, barley malt, must and finished product such as complex carbohydrates and fermentable sugars, organic acids, alcohol content, acetaldehyde, sulfur dioxide, APA, ß--Glucans, polyphenols, chlorides, potassium and iron will be illustrated.

The second part of the presentation will be dedicated to the advantages of the RT-PCR technique in the laboratory routine for the search for batteries and alterative yeasts that can become stressed, change in taste and unpleasant odors in beer. In particular, the use of the kits of the GEN-IAL® QuickGEN line to extract the DNA and subsequently identify up to 30 differentiated species in a single PCR run in just 2 hours will be showned.
