A sweet and dietetic sponge cake? Gofos!

Ideal in cookies and chocolate, Gofos™ are the perfect ingredient to bake a sponge cake that is soft and light, with a good alveolation, sweet enough to make everyone happy: a real treat!

Distributed by Faravelli, Gofos are short-chain fructo-oligosaccharides derived from beet (sc-FOS). They are produced by Galam from sugar and through a patented enzymatic process that allows the formation of GF2, GF3 and GF4 with guaranteed ratios.

Source of fiber, they are an excellent alternative to inulin: they have a higher sweetening power (0.3), but with only 2 kcal/g.

With Gofos it is possible to reduce sugar by about 30%, without giving up those notes of sweetness that we love to find in every sponge cake, plum cake, sponge cake.
