World Pasta Day 2015 with Unesco patronage
The next World Pasta Day 2015 (October, 25th) will be a special edition because it will be held in Milan in Expo2015 area, but also for the UNESCO’s patronage (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).
Furthermore on 26th and 27th October - as part of the professional exhibition dedicated to Host Ho.Re.Ca., foodservice, retail, great distribution and hotellerie in Rho (Milan) - will be held the World Pasta Congress. The conference will consist of several thematic sessions, including a nutritionist summit.
"After the recognition of the Mediterranean Diet as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, which confirms it among the best in the world - said Riccardo Felicetti, President of the International Pasta Organization and President of AIDEPI -, this patronage for the World Pasta Day make us very pride; it reinforces the values of our initiative and it confirms that the goodness of pasta is increasingly popular and appreciated throughout the world. "
The World Pasta Day is celebrated every year by means of promotional activities and events which take place simultaneously in different parts of the world; it has become an event recognized by consumers thanks to the many communication plans promoted in several Countries by associations, pasta industries, restaurant chains and various company which contribute to an international visibility for the product.
The World Pasta Day aims to celebrate the pasta and communicate its nutritional values to the media, explaining how this global food will be able to meet not only the primary food requirements but it also will enhance the most exclusive scientific studies in nutrition.
