The February issue of Industrie Alimentari is now available

In this issue we publish the key trends for food & beverage sector, with analyses, insights and recommendations. We understand the community value better before Covid-19 and we will be encouraged to choose our brands as a form of self-expression and a way to reconnect with pre-pandemic identities. Innovative products must offer solutions for mental and emotional well-being, with ethical claims. Consumers will ask for more contactless purchase opportunities and experiential services.

The demand for sustainable food is growing and, as part of the Plastic Waste Coalition of Action initiative, the Golden Rules of Design have been formulated, to reduce the use of plastic and improve its recyclability. We investigate the aspect of the transparent PET use and the new Position Paper for an extension of producer responsibility.

Wolhfarth company offers an example of success based on the courage to focus on artisanal approach and maximum attention to the quality: in our reportage, they tell us how to interpret our time and identify new service opportunities even in the health emergency. In collaboration with national research centers, we publish the results of a molecular characterization of Listeria monocytogenes in molluscs and the USDA annual report on agricultural biotechnology in the EU.
